Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness

We need to take back control from the liberals who are ruining America and show them how America should be. This radical we have as president and his puppets are attacking our nation from the inside. He is quickly dismantling everything we hold dear. I present my take on Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. That is what everyone deserves as an AMERICAN.

You get to live. The Government should be able to defend us and keep us safe from all terrorist foreign and domestic.

Liberty: (Definition from Merriam-Webster)

1 : the quality or state of being free: a : the power to do as one pleases b : freedom from physical restraint c : freedom from arbitrary or despotic control d : the positive enjoyment of various social, political, or economic rights and privileges e : the power of choice.

Pretty perfect in my eyes.

Pursuit of Happiness: (Definitions from Merriam-Webster)

1 : the act of pursuing

2 : an activity that one engages in as a vocation, profession, or avocation.

1 obsolete : good fortune : prosperity

2 a : a state of well-being and contentment : joy b : a pleasurable or satisfying experience.

So Pursuit of Happiness is being in a job (or earning a wage) so that you can make money to be content.

In the Preamble of the Constitution, the whole point of having tranquility, justice, and defense was to *promote* the general welfare of every state and every citizen to take advantage of what the government could provide. We used to have the FREEDOM to work hard and make it. There wasn't handouts for people to sit on their ass and have everything done for them. There was only promise of an opportunity to take and make the most of it. There were and always will be varying degrees of success in all citizens. To take those varying degrees and redistribute the wealth is not what our forefathers would have wanted. If they wanted everyone to pool their resources and redistribute it to all citizens, they would have fully explained how to do that. To provide for a new class of people that want everything handed to them *IS* unconstitutional. Prosperity is based on business and the hierarchy of people in power and those under them.
